To commemorate FAU President John Kelly's inaugural year, the FAU Gala on March 21 will be a celebration of the vision and inspirational leadership he and Mrs. Kelly have brought to the University and the entire community. The Kellys have chosen to forego the customary Presidential inauguration ceremony and instead have made a generous personal donation to establish the Kelly Family Scholarship Fund. They have asked that all net proceeds from the Gala be directed to their matching student scholarship support fund.
Hosted in the spectacular FAU Stadium, the 2015 FAU Gala will be spread over three levels of beautiful suites, clubs and outdoor areas, and will dazzle the senses with gourmet dining, full open bar, live music, a “halftime” extravaganza with fireworks, a silent auction and more. Entertainment will include a performance by Emil & Dariel Rock Cellos, who made a name for themselves as finalists on the latest season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Emil and Dariel Liakhovetski are brothers and local residents, with Emil attending FAU through his high school dual-enrollment program prior to his time on the show.
