2020 Chef Event Caps a Decade of Sweet Support for Seagull Services
Seagull Services’ 2020 Chef Event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 13th at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Manalapan.
Seagull Services is proud to announce that Gardens Wealth Management is the presenting sponsor for the event. All proceeds benefit the educational and vocational programs of Seagull Services for students and adults with developmental disabilities.
“Gardens Wealth Management is pleased to support Seagull Services and its programs,” said Michael J. Cowan, Managing Principal. “Since joining the board in 2019, I have been impressed watching the work that Seagull Services does to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The Chef Event will be a fun afternoon, but more importantly, it will be a great opportunity for everyone to learn more about how Seagull Services erases barriers and helps people soar.”
Other event sponsors include Publix Supermarkets Charities, FPL, Comerica, Rybovich Marine, and Mickey Nolen, President of Nozzle Nolen, Inc.
Seagull Services is a private, non-profit social service agency that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of developmentally challenged people. Seagull also provides services for individuals who require support to overcome other social and educational barriers, helping them to be successful at work and in their personal lives.
The 2020 Chef Event is the 10th occasion for the signature event that features a dessert demonstration showcasing the talents of one of the area’s top pastry chefs. The dessert creation is then shared with guests as the final course of the gourmet luncheon, which includes a wine reception and auctions.
