Computer 101 for Surfers
A class designed for beginners that are familiar with the basic aspects of computer usage, including launching desktop applications and visiting URLs via a web broswer. A maximum of five students allows each student to receive individual attention. For the first five classes, participants will be using the tablets supplied by the instructor. In the last session, students are encouraged to bring in their own portable device to be able to implement their knowledge easily.

Session 2: Working with email
Session 3: Exploring the vast resources of the Internet
Session 4: Modes of digital communication on the Internet
Session 5: Staying safe on the Internet
Session 6: Practicing and polishing your skills
Instructor: Estee Gelman comes to us from the Greater Pittsburgh (South Hills) JCC where she provided computer classes. She was also a computer instructor in the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Pittsburgh's Cognitive Enhancement Program.
