About Alexandria:
Alexandria Ayala has over a decade of experience in government, public service, and legislative affairs. She has previously served as a Legislative Aide on the Palm Beach County Commission, where she formed successful partnerships and supported policy initiatives that address our community’s concerns. Additionally, she served as a Legislative Aide in The Florida House of Representatives, where she worked on constituent issues and supported efforts to craft policy that positively impacted Palm Beach County’s families, businesses, and schools.
Alexandria currently serves as an elected School Board member, representing District 2 on the Palm Beach County School Board. She was elected in 2020 and is the first Latina and the youngest person elected in Palm Beach County School Board history.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Palm Springs, Florida, Alexandria graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Journalism Studies. She is an alumnus of the Palm Beach County School District, having attended three District-operated schools within District 2.
Committed to empowering the community through engagement and service, Alexandria is proud to serve on the boards of various organizations throughout Palm Beach County.
About Sarah Criser Elwell:
Sarah Criser Elwell serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Florida's largest nonpartisan political and public affairs organization. In this capacity, she plans, recruits for, and presents monthly events with national leaders whose words and actions impact lives all around the world. She is responsible for the exchange of friendly discourse among the organization's membership of nearly 800 South Florida business, political, and community leaders, and fosters future engagement and civic learning among students in our area. Elwell previously worked for Moore Agency, handling brand identity, publicity, media training, and event planning. She also served as Communications Director for two Members of Congress and Deputy Press Secretary for Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture. Elwell earned a master’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Palm Beach Gardens with their two daughters.
