FAMILY FUN NIGHTS AT PDQ
Starting on Friday, September 4, every Friday in September is Family Fun Night at PDQ for Hunger Action Month!
From 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, mention Feeding South Florida when ordering your lunch and dinner from 3 PDQ locations in South Florida, and up to 20% of the proceeds will go towards ending hunger in South Florida.
About Hunger Action Month
Almost 800,000 people in South Florida are food insecure – they don’t know from where they will get their next meal.
This September, you can help be part of the solution! GO ORANGE to raise awareness of this critical issue that’s a daily reality for so many in our own backyard. As individuals, businesses and government, we all have a role to play in getting more food to those who need it, as well as breaking the cycle of hunger & poverty. As part of a nationwide initiative created by Feeding America, Hunger Action Month (HAM) takes place throughout September and is designed to raise awareness for the issue of hunger in America.
Whether you’ve been involved before, or are just learning about the prevalent issue of food insecurity in South Florida, Feeding South Florida invites you to paint South Florida orange, and learn about the many (30!) ways ANYONE can get involved.
