Fiesta Cultural at
Palm Beach Zoo is Saturday,
October 1, 2016. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with music, food, and the animals of South & Central America!
- See endangered animals from all across Latin America like jaguars, tapirs, giant anteaters...even a baby Mexican Spider Monkey (just born in September).
- All Music Entertainment DJ provides a variety of Latin sounds throughout the day (10am-4pm).
- Mini chicken quesadillas and beef empanadas at the fountain, along with a beer/wine bar , during the day. And ropa vieja with rice, beans, and plantains in the Tropics Cafe.
- Meet "Juana la Iguana" (time tba)... Juana la Iguana is a learning and entertainment content platform that instills educational and global values to pre-school children in Spanish. Juana la Iguana is a popular TV character in South America. Her purpose is to encourage children to dream of a better world. A world where they can overcome obstacles with self-confidence and be better people with strong values.
- Then at 5pm it's Tairon Aguilara & the Latin Beat Band live until 8:30pm.
- Enjoy tasty Latin dishes from a variety of food trucks, 5:00-9:00pm!
