Event Description:
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County is hosting a free event to collect unwanted lithium batteries and shred personal documents. If not properly disposed of, lithium batteries can start fires that can harm waste collection workers and damage collection trucks and waste and recycling processing facilities. And personal documents can pose an identity theft issue. Only 6 (reams of paper sized) boxes of document per person will be shredded.
