Feeding South Florida® is a member of the Feeding America® network of food banks and the leading domestic hunger-relief organization serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. With a mission is to end hunger in South Florida by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education, Feeding South Florida rescues and distributes more than 44 million pounds of food annually, serving 784,110 individuals in need of food assistance, 264,280 of whom are children and approximately 150,000 are older adults. Feeding South Florida is the largest and most efficient food bank in each county it serves, providing for 24% of the state’s food insecure population, through a local network of approximately 380 nonprofit partner agencies.

Our Feeding Palm Beach County branch rescues and distributes more than 11 million pounds (or 9 million meals) of food each year in Palm Beach County alone, through direct service programs and a network of more than 100 nonprofit partner agencies. Feeding Palm Beach County serves 199,460 individuals struggling to put food on the table in Palm Beach County - 60,340 of whom are children and nearly 40,000 of whom are older adults.
