Giving blood saves lives! Palm Beach Outlets (PalmBeachOutlets.com) has announced the extension of weekly blood drives with OneBlood. The OneBlood Big Red Bus will continue to be at Palm Beach Outlets on Saturdays through May 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The drives will be held near the PetSmart parking lot. Over 1,000 donors have attended the blood drives since the partnership began in April 2020. Because of these donors, OneBlood estimates that over 2,000 patients’ lives have been saved in local area hospitals.
Every blood donation will be complimentary tested for the coronavirus antibody and donors will be informed of test results. Due to social distancing measures that OneBlood has in place, all donors are required to make an appointment to donate. Appointments can be made at OneBlood.org or by calling 1-888-9DONATE.
