Lead Bartender, joined Hilton West Palm Beach in 2016 as part of the hotel opening team. Hauk began his career with Hilton West Palm Beach as a bartender at La Playa (poolside bar) by day and Galley (signature restaurant) by night. He grew in his role and continues to master the craft as Lead Bartender at Galley. In this role, Hauk is responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and maintaining a high-volume craft cocktail program, restaurant/property activations, brand promotions, and media leads. Hauk has been published in print and online articles including Palm Beach Illustrated, Palm Beach Post and Forbes. Previously in his career, he was a competition bartender and occasional local morning radio show guest.
Hauk thrives on the guest experience; seeking new spirits, cocktail trends, and experimenting with flavor combinations to bring new sensations to his patrons. His inspiration stems from the culinary industry, utilizing techniques and cookbooks to create mixed flavors and pairings. For example, plums mixed with notes of white chocolate and cranberry, or creating an apple butter to be used in a fall themed martini recipe.
Outside of work, Hauk's interests expand in the creative fields including graphic design, drawing and strategy games. He also enjoys park hopping through Florida's theme parks. He has four pets, and a Fiancé that round out his personal life.
