It’s lucky number 13 for The Dinner! A Quantum House fundraiser, The Dinner (formally known as Taste of Compassion), is an evening of discovery for the taste buds with five-course of offering prepared and provided by the top chefs and restaurants in Palm Beach County.
On Monday, January 16, 2017 (MLK Day), travel from course to course pausing for pairings of award winning wines from Southern Wine and Spirits. Enjoy sounds from Urban Gypsy as you wander to different dishes and enjoy this evening of “foodlanthropy.”
This year’s event will take place at the brand new, Hilton West Palm Beach, next to the convention center. Ken Wade and Shannon Ball are the event chairs along with local talent, Jay Zeager as the event emcee. There will be a “foodie bag” (formally known as a goodie bag) filled with items for the epicurean in everyone. Valet parking is included and the Hilton is offering special weekend packages for event attendees who would like to make a staycation out of it!
Participating restaurants and clubs include The Breakers, Manor, Independent Seafood, 3800 Ocean, and the famous Cider Doughnuts only found at local green markets.
Proceeds benefit Quantum House, a non-profit hospital hospitality house which provides lodging for more than 1,000 family members each year while their child is receiving treatments for serious medical conditions in Palm Beach County.
The evening would not be possible without our sponsors: PNC Bank, Tire Kingdom- A TBC Corporation Company, Panera Bread, Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, Alpha Media, FPL, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Southern Wine and Spirits, and Love’s Flower Shop.
