Event Description:
VIRTUAL ZOOM Live Webinar - Session #3/4 for 2020 Quarterly Seminars:

Session 3: “Election 2020: What Your Vote Means”
  • What Your Vote Means in 2020:
Which political party controls Congress or the White House has a long-term impact on federal employment laws.  The President’s agenda or an ambitious legislature can affect employer obligations just as directly as agency regulations.  This session will cover what employers need to know about recent regulatory and statutory developments, and the proposals a new administration could bring.  We will review the impact of executive orders, wage and hour rules and proposals, and what difference a new regime in Washington could bring. Of course, we’ll address the recent BLM activity, COVID-19, and the most recent Supreme Court ruling regarding LGBTQ rights in the workplace
Speakers: Christine Hanley, Esq., David Gobeo, Esq., Ariadna (“Ari”) Hernandez, Esq., and Matt Luttinger, Esq. of FordHarrison LLC
