Event Description:
September is ATHENA Leadership Awards month at the Chamber and to celebrate, our very own Membership Director, Kelly Fanelli will be facilitating this month's program: the ATHENA World Café.
Named for its café-like atmosphere, this informal, comfortable forum is where conversations happen, lives are touched, emerging and established leaders are inspired, and professional friendships are formed and renewed.
This interactive setting explores the ATHENA Leadership Model (ALM) and invites reflection and sharing of ideas on leadership and how the ALM message brings a transforming approach to leadership worldwide that goes beyond gender to all who lead in the 21st Century.
About the ATHENA Leadership Awards
The Chamber hosts the ATHENA International Awards Luncheon each year in September. The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to a woman, or man, who is honored for attaining professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their achievement of professional excellence and leadership skills.
About the Women in Business Committee
The Women in Business Committee meets the second Thursday of every month in the Chamber Board Room at 12:00 pm.
