DESCRIPTION:The Community Spirit Race is our seventh annual program and is a collaborative fundraising 5K and one-mile walk that brings together nonprofit organizations\, businesses\, families\, and individuals from across the community.\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe race includes a certified\, timed 5K\, and one-mile walk\, kid's fun run\, kids' zone\, breakfast\, and a nonprofit vendor expo\, creating a welcoming\, family-friendly experience for participants of all ages.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Community Spirit Race is designed to give nonprofit organizations the opportunity to fundraise for their missions at no cost or very low cost\, with no financial risk to the organization. It allows nonprofits to raise funds\, increase visibility\, and engage new supporters without having to produce their own event.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLast year's race welcomed over 1\,400 registered runners\, with nearly 2\,000 people in attendance. The event included 42 nonprofit teams\, which collectively raised more than $95\,000 to support their missions.
