Cleveland Clinic Florida Rated “A” for Patient Safety by The Leapfrog Group
WESTON, Fla. – April, 12, 2017 – Cleveland Clinic Florida has been named a top hospital for patient safety by The Leapfrog Group, a Washington DC based non-profit organization committed to driving quality, safety and transparency in the US healthcare system. Cleveland Clinic Florida earned an “A” in Leapfrog Group’s most recent update to the Hospital Safety Grades released in April 2017. The hospital received the rating for its commitment to eliminating errors, infections and accidents that can harm patients.

Developed under the guidance of an expert panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. Hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
