CPA Becomes New Chapter President of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants

Allyse Carter, a CPA with the firm of Caler, Donten, Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil, P.A. (CDL), has become the new president of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Institute of the Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).  Her term will run through June 30, 2020.
 
With more than 1,100 Palm Beach Chapter members, Carter will continue the mission of promoting the accounting profession through education and training opportunities.  She will also focus on increasing more networking and community involvement opportunities for its members in the upcoming year.   
 
Carter is actively involved in the FICPA’s Young CPAs Committee.  In December of 2017, she was named an “Emerging Leader” as part of the FICPA’s Leadership Summit in Tallahassee. 
           
Carter has been with CDL since 2016.  She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University.  She specializes in personal taxation.
