WESTON, Fla. – March 19, 2018 – Board-certified internist Nabil Tadross, M.D., a leading primary care physician in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than two decades, has been selected to lead Cleveland Clinic Florida’s new Concierge Medicine program in East Fort Lauderdale. The first practice of its kind for the Cleveland Clinic enterprise, the Concierge Medicine program provides consistent, comprehensive, personalized medical care, while cultivating in-depth patient-physician relationships that support patients’ health goals.

Dr. Tadross relocated to South Florida from Cleveland where he was Associate Medical Director of the Richard E. Jacobs Family Health Center. In addition to overseeing the large medical practice, he concurrently served as Chair of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Avon Hospital and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

“Nabil is greatly admired for his ability to connect with patients, and he made it a priority at Cleveland Clinic to teach new residents the art of listening to patients and engaging them to improve their health,” said Wael Barsoum, M.D., Chief Executive Officer and President of Cleveland Clinic Florida. “I can think of no one better to lead our concierge medicine care team.”

A longtime advocate of quality improvement in medicine, Dr. Tadross served as a Quality Improvement Officer for Cleveland Clinic for six of his 13 years with the organization. He helped improve care quality for patients with diabetes among other quality initiatives. He was recognized as a “Top Doctor” by Cleveland Magazine for 2015, 2016 and 2017.

“I am proud to be part of the Concierge Medicine program at Cleveland Clinic Florida and look forward to creating a patient-focused practice that allows me to spend more time with my patients,” said Dr. Tadross. “Concierge medicine is a return to a small-town, personalized approach to medicine, matched with Cleveland Clinic’s technology-driven, innovative world-class care.”
