ChildNet CEO and President Appointed to Governor Ron DeSantis' Commission on Mental Health and Substance Abuse
 
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (August 20, 2021) – Governor Ron DeSantis recently appointed ChildNet's CEO and President, Larry Rein and five other notable Floridians to the Commission on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. The Commission will work to examine the state of Florida’s mental health and substance abuse services and offer recommendations to the community.
 
Larry Rein is Vice Chair of the Florida Coalition for Children Foundation, a former member of the Broward County Children’s Services Council, and a recipient of the Mental Health Association of Broward’s Epic Award. Rein earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia University and master’s degree in school psychology from St. John’s University.
