Making the trip to the stage a total of 28 times, West Palm Beach, Sarasota and Orlando-based O’Donnell Agency swept the American Advertising Federation Treasure Coast Chapter’s annual ADDY Awards event on March 2. Winning eight gold and 19 silver awards for excellence, plus the overall Judges Choice Award for a direct mail piece designed and produced for the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, the O’Donnell Agency art department was the night’s big winner. The design team is led by Amanda Sueiro-Rier, who also heads the agency’s new Orlando presence, and agency president Carey O’Donnell serves as Creative Director.
Some of the agency’s Palm Beach and Martin County clients whose work won big include Oxbridge Academy for the 2017 school brochure and print advertising campaign; Morse Life Health System’s new logo and two television spots for Morse Life Memory Care and Tradition residences; a social media video starring golf legend Greg Norman for Medalist Village; the Historical Society of Palm Beach County’s Archival Evening invitation, Season Guide and the redesign of its Tustenegee magazine; the name and logo for HATCH, a high profile civic building that is home to the Lake Worth community Redevelopment Agency; and an identity package for Palm Beach County attorney and business consultant, Wendy Sartory Link. A crowd favorite was a gold ADDY for an invitation to a 2017 Rhonda’s Kiss event held at The Breakers, which played Kool and the Gang’s hit, “Celebration” when the invitation opened.
Founded in 1905, The American Advertising Federation celebrates outstanding professionals in advertising’s many disciplines.
