Peter A. Sachs Appointed to Board of Directors for Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County

Jones Foster is proud to announce that Firm Board Member and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Shareholder Peter A. Sachs has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County for a 3-year term. 
 
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County was founded in 1949 with a mission of providing equal access to our judicial system to qualified and low-income residents and non-profits in Palm Beach County. The range of services now offered to the community extends beyond the dispensing of free legal advice and includes the administration of diverse programs that address many of life’s most basic needs: a safe home, enough food to eat, a quality education, and protection against exploitation and discrimination. Jones Foster is a sponsor of the annual Pro Bono Recognition Evening.

Peter is actively involved in various industry and community organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Community Care organization and as Chair of the Planned Giving Committee for the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation. He concentrates his practice on complex trust and estate, guardianship, and commercial litigation matters and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial and Business Litigation specialist, and is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Peter is consistently recognized as a preeminent attorney in his area of practice by industry and peer review publications, including Best Lawyers in America, South Florida Legal Guide, the Daily Business Review, and Super Lawyers. Peter was named by Best Lawyers as 2020 “Lawyer of the Year” in West Palm Beach for Trusts & Estate Litigation.
