RAYMOND F. KRAVIS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER Longtime supporter Sherry Endelson to Serve Three-Year Term

(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) – On April 30, 2020, the Board of Directors of the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts elected Sherry Endelson to the Center’s Board for a three-year term.
 
Jeffrey Stoops was re-elected Board Chairman. Other officers re-elected for 2020-2021 were John Kessler, Vice Chair; Sherry Barrat, Vice Chair; Joseph Sanches, Vice Chair; and James Harpel, Secretary. Board member David Lambert was elected Treasurer. Stephen Brown was awarded the designation of Life Trustee after completing the maximum term as a Board member.
 
“The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts welcomes Sherry Endelson to the Board of Directors,” said Stoops. “She has extensive non-profit leadership experience and has been an active participant in regional, national and international charities for more than three decades. Sherry has been involved with the Kravis Center for many years and with her passion for the arts and education she will be an exceptional asset to the Board and the overall success of the Kravis Center.”
 
Boca Raton resident Sherry Endelson supports a broad range of organizations with a focus on the arts, education, health and wellness, medical research and Jewish organizations. At the Kravis Center, Ms. Endelson has served on the Development Committee. She and her husband Ken are Kravis Center Founder members, have supported the Kravis 2020 Capital Campaign and have been Kravis Center Gala sponsors for several years. Ms. Endelson has taken leadership roles and supported The Norton Museum of Art, American Friends of the Israel Museum, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, member of the International Director’s Council of the Guggenheim Museum, Board of Regents of the Hebrew University, The Promise Fund of Florida, MorseLife Foundation and Pine Crest School. She is active in Jewish causes as a member of Temple Beth El in Boca Raton, Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach as a King David Society donor, member of Lion of Judah and the Jewish Women’s Foundation. A successful interior designer, Ms. Endelson founded Signature Interior, Inc. in South Florida 20 years ago, a boutique design firm now known as Iconic Interiors that specializes in high-end residential and commercial renovation projects.  Originally from New York, she earned a degree in art history from the University of Wisconsin. Ms. Endelson and her husband Ken, a real estate developer, have three children and seven grandchildren. They are members of Palm Beach Country Club and are currently designing and building a new home in Palm Beach.
