Theodore S. Kypreos Reappointed to The Florida Bar Probate Rules Committee

Litigation & Dispute Resolution Shareholder, Theo Kypreos, has been reappointed by The Florida Bar’s president-elect, John M. Stewart, to serve on the Probate Rules Committee.

The scope and function of the Probate Rules Committee is to carry out the mandate of Rule 2.140, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, concerning the proposal of new rules of procedure and changes to existing rules.

Theo Kypreos practices in?the areas of probate and trust litigation, trust and estate administration, guardianship law, and fiduciary litigation. As an experienced trial and appellate attorney, Theo represents corporate and individual fiduciaries, individual heirs and beneficiaries, and charitable institutions and beneficiaries.  Theo advises clients in a broad range of probate, trust, and guardianship matters including will?and trust contests,?breach of trust actions, trustee removal and accounting actions,?will and trust reformation and modification proceedings, contested guardianships,?elective share proceedings,?Florida homestead disputes, exploitation and tortious interference litigation, and matters relating to probate creditors’ claims.

Theo is a frequent lecturer for The Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association on topics related to probate, trust and guardianship law. He is consistently recognized by peer and industry publications and served as the 2014-2015 President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
