TRUSTBRIDGE HOSPICE FOUNDATION PRESIDENT GREG LEACH ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AFTER 13 YEARS OF LEADERSHIP
West Palm Beach, FL (December 15, 2021) – After thirteen years of dedicating his compassionate leadership as president and CEO of the
Trustbridge Hospice Foundation (Hospice of Palm Beach County/Hospice by the Sea) Greg Leach has announced his retirement to the Board of Directors. Leach will continue in his position through March of 2021 to ensure a smooth transition for his successor. He will remain as a consultant for fiduciary issues reporting to the Board Chairman.
Leach began his tenure with the Foundation in 2008. Under his leadership, combined assets have nearly doubled in size and the Foundation has funded over $68 million in programs and charity care to Trustbridge and its patients.
“Greg has done an outstanding job building the organization into an invaluable resource for our community hospice and to the community at large,” said Robert Friedman, board chair. “We celebrate the impact he has made, the culture he has built and the families we have helped during his time with us.”
“I’m extremely proud of the Trustbridge Foundation’s contribution to our community during my tenure,” said Leach. “Through the Board’s leadership and direction, and through the generosity of our community, the Foundation has been able to provide funding for numerous programs not funded by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance, including, charity care, music therapy, children’s bereavement camps, palliative medicine fellowship programs and much more.
“The original opportunity to lead this Foundation was one that I simply could not pass up. While I had been successful as a banker in this community for many years, this provided me with an opportunity to truly give back and make a difference on the lives of the people in the communities we serve, while utilizing financial acumen for a great organization. I have been blessed with a second career that is almost too good to be true!”
To build upon the expertise and high service levels the Foundation already provides, the board will engage in a local and national search for a new CEO.
The Trustbridge Hospice Foundation is committed to providing extraordinary care for everyone in our community, including those without insurance coverage or the ability to pay. Donations are dedicated to programs and services of Trustbridge including comfort care, charitable care, music therapy, pet therapy, adult and children’s bereavement services and children’s camps.
