About
At the Cox Science Center and Aquarium, our mission is to inspire, engage, and educate our guests with an immersive journey that empowers them to embrace the promise of science. Guided by our purpose to “Open Every Mind to Science,” we bring this to life by providing schools, visitors, and campers with dynamic science programming and technology driven experiences, including computer coding, robotics, and other leading edge STEM initiatives. The Center features hands-on educational exhibits, a 10,000-gallon fresh and saltwater aquarium, a quarter mile long outdoor science trail, observatory, STEAM Cart activities, Flight Deck, and more.
